Shout! Factory's licensed-from-Universal release of The 7th Year DVDs hit stores just a few weeks ago (albeit with a typo on the back of the box for the surname spelling of the show's creator..yes, thanks for all of your emails; the studio is aware and this will hopefully be corrected on future publishing runs). Now the studio has scheduled an October 23rd in-store date for Law & Order: Criminal Intent - The 8th Year. The 4-disc package, whose artwork is shown below, will set you back no more than $44.99 SRP. But you can already pre-order this from Amazon.com at a nice discount:
The eighth season of Law & Order: Criminal Intent premiered on the USA Network in the United States on April 19, 2009. It consisted of sixteen episodes, and concluded on August 9, 2009.
Season eight starred Vincent D'Onofrio as Detective Robert Goren, Kathryn Erbe as Detective Alexandra Eames, Julianne Nicholson as Detective Megan Wheeler, and Eric Bogosian as Captain Danny Ross. Jeff Goldblum joined the cast as Detective Zack Nichols.

- I'm highly optimistic, good natured, sympathetic, forgiving, and courteous.I'm creative, conventional and down to earth. I love meeting new people. I like trying new and exciting things. I've been a big fan of Vincent D'Onofrio's for a couple years now. Enjoyed Law and Order:Criminal Intent since it's premiere. I AM CANADIAN! :) and proud of it.
Great that it's finally available but I won't get it. I'd buy the Vincent episodes only if I could though.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it'll have deleted scenes back in like the recently-released Season 7. I was really happy they did that. What a treat to see those scenes again, especially in Untethered!
ReplyDeleteVery exciting. I already have all the VDO eps on itunes. The ones flyboy did with Erbe are really good, and definitely worth watching. I have a feeling they gave Goldblum the better scripts. S8 was a mess for the most part (Bobby has a niece??), but there are still some great eps in there and he is still hot even while he's depressed.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't aware that the season 7 eps had parts that were deleted. Our cable, in Australia, had full episodes, but it's good to now have the dvds. It would be great if we could have season 8 with Goren only episodes.
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine the disparity in sales figures if they sold them separately? I will admit though, season 8 Flyboy is still worth a look *ducks*. Season nine on the other hand *hurl* What the hell was that season? Thank God S10 left an awesome legacy to erase 9 from our minds.
ReplyDeleteTaking a few simple precautions will help to deter all but the most determined burglar.
