"J" is for Jan
In this dark American comedy, "The New Tenants", Vincent D'Onofrio plays Jan. "The New Tenants" is about a eccentric couple who move into this lousy apartment and within a day are visited by some rather grim and portentous visitors.
Vincent's character comes in, with tire iron in hand, accusing both tenants of sleeping with his wife. This all happens in the first 5 minutes of the film and his performance is just hilarious. The next 15 minutes is just as captivating.
The New Tenants won in Oscar for Best Live Action Short in 2010. Watch it HERE

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!
I like dark comedies because they can be very difficult to write, not to mention act in. Remember the film 1941? It didn't go ever well because people were apparently not smart enough to 'get it.'
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. I downloaded it and will watch it later today.
