TRAILER: "Fire with Fire" starring Vincent D'Onofrio and Josh Duhamel

SYNOPSIS: Following a grueling day of work, firefighter Jeremy Coleman (Josh Duhamel) and his co-workers contemplate ending the day with a refreshing drink. When Jeremy enters the liquor store to buy more alcohol, he unknowingly witnesses the clerk being brutally murdered at the hands of Hagan (Vincent D’Onofrio), a white supremacist. After Jeremy narrowly escapes with his life, police detective Mike Cella (Bruce Willis) learns of Hagan’s recent crime and takes an interest in the case. Hagan is arrested and Jeremy identifies him in a line up; however, Hagan demonstrates that he knows full well that Jeremy is behind the two-way mirror by reciting Jeremy’s full name and address.

Prior to the trial, Jeremy is forced to surrender his entire career as he’s placed into the witness protection program. Although Jeremy finds it difficult to cope with the loss of his career, he also finds consolation in his budding romance with Talia Durham (Rosario Dawson), a US Marshal.

Later, Hagan’s attorney arranges for him to be released from prison in the weeks leading up to the trial. As a result, Jeremy and Talia find their lives in jeopardy. When Talia is severely wounded by one of Hagan’s men, Jeremy flees from the witness protection program and travels to Long Beach, CA. There, Jeremy teams up with one of Hagan’s rival gangs in order to bring him down. Soon, Jeremy will have to work to eliminate Hagan’s men one by one in order to protect the woman he loves.

Aside from a release Date of Sept. 6 for Denmark, one for the U.S. has not been given yet.

New Trailer: "SINISTER" with Ethan Hawke and Vincent D'Onofrio

Source:Shock Till You Drop

Synopsis: In the film, opening October 5th, a true crime novelist struggling to find his next big story discovers a box of home videos showing other families being brutally murdered, but his investigation soon leads him to a supernatural entity that may be placing his own family in harm's way.

I'm pretty sure this isn't a film I would choose to go out and watch but being a fan of Vincent D'Onofrio's is going to get me in the theater. But I'll be sure to be watching through screened fingers over my eyes.

Is that a "Grateful Dead" T-shirt Vincent is wearing?

"Pawn Shop Chronicles": New Movie for Vincent D'Onofrio

EXCLUSIVE: Director Wayne Kramer has set Matt Dillon, Brendan Fraser, Elijah Wood, Vincent D’Onofrio, Pell James, Thomas Jane, Lukas Haas, Chi McBride, Ashlee Simpson, Kevin Rankin, DJ Qualls, Michael Cudlitz and Norman Reedus for Pawn Shop Chronicles. They join Paul Walker, who was set to star and produce. Jordan Schur, CEO and co-chairman of Mimran Schur Pictures, revealed the cast just as shooting gets underway in Baton Rouge, La.

Schur is producing with David Mimran, Walker, Nick Thurlow and Steven Schneider. Walker’s Laguna Ridge is also producing, with Matt Luber and Brandon Virtell exec producing. Adam Minarovich wrote the screenplay. Mimran Schur is financing.

The film is a dark comedy about a man searching for his abducted wife, a couple of white-supremacist meth heads and a sad sack Elvis impersonator all linked through items sold or found in a small Southern town’s local pawn shop.

“This is a superbly written mind-bender of a story that grabs you from the first line, and doesn’t let go,” stated Schur. “We are incredibly fortunate to have found Wayne Kramer to present it, and equally thrilled with the diverse and talented cast assembled.”

Well this is certainly an interesting bunch of characters. I certainly interested to see how it will all come together.   It's been nearly 20 years since "Mr. Wonderful" when Vincent and Matt Dillion both pined for the love of the same girl. Thomas Jane is also starring in this movie. Not much chance we'll see any man on man action between Thomas and Vincent like we did in their movie The Velocity of Gary. :)
